It's Our 7th Opening Day, June 5, 2016

You'd think I'd be calm, cool and collected with a new market season starting, what with this being the 7th year for Glenwood Sunday Market. But you'd be wrong!

Every passing day brings a new surge of enthusiasm, excitement, fear and worry.

It's going to be so exciting to see everyone! It's going to be the best market we've ever had! But......Will people come shop?

What if there's drenching rain? What if the vendors get stuck in a traffic jam somewhere? What if there are cars parked up and down the street where the market is supposed to be?

Here's what I know. People will come and shop. There will be a drenching rain. Someone's going to get stuck somewhere.

There will be cars parked. And we will have to tow them away. I will forget something important. I have no idea what. But something.

The Opening Ceremony (supposed to start at 8:45 a.m.!) will start late. And be too long (supposed to end by 9 a.m.!)

And someone will be upset about something and someone else will be happy about something. And it will be another great start to another wonderful year of Glenwood Sunday Market. Looking forward to seeing you there!
